McCarthy (Timm), Bridget M. Bridget McCarthy, 54, found peace with the angels on October 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Bridget graduated from Bloomington Jefferson High School in 1983 and Mankato State University in 1988 with a degree in elementary education. Bridget found great joy in being a loving mother of three children and grandmother of two. She was an avid reader, cook, traveler, and animal lover. Bridget was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 16 and courageously faced many resulting health issues for almost forty years. Friends and family were amazed by her strength, equanimity, and her smile. Bridget will live on in the hearts of all those who love her: her three children, Matthew (Sarah) McCarthy, Jack McCarthy (Keely Talbot) and Brianna McCarthy; two grandchildren, Bennett and Rosalie; parents Karen Timm and Henry P. (Mila) Timm, Jr.; siblings Laura (James) Frese, Becky Timm, and Paul Timm; and the loving and caring staff and residents of Friendship House in Bloomington, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on November 15, at the Church of Saint Edwards, 9401 Nesbitt Ave. So., Bloomington. Visitation will be one hour before and a luncheon to follow. Private interment to follow at Dawn Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Roseville, MN.
