Cochran, Michael B. Age 72 passed away on 10/17/2019 from cancer. Mike started this journey on Aug. 10, 2018 and said "Don't cry for me, I have lived a full life, have done more than most people and have no regrets. I have been to the top of the Eiffel Tower, ran with the bulls in Pamplona, spent 3 months hitchhiking through Europe, caught a 200# Marlin off the coast of Mexico and many 30" Walleyes in Canada." Mike graduated from West High in Minneapolis in 1964, volunteered for the United States Marine Corps in 1966 and served in Vietnam. He was a radio operator attached to a helicopter squadron, based at Marble Mountain on the outskirts of DaNang. After Mike completed his service duty, he enrolled at the U of M and graduated with a BS degree in Business. Mike always said he was privileged to have a career doing what he enjoyed: designing and installing more than 13,000 closet organization systems in homes throughout the Twin Cities. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Arlene and children, Patrick (Emily), Kathryn (Greer) Montgomery and four beautiful granddaughters, Savannah, Elia, Hazel and Clara. His father, Gaun Cochran; mother, Betty Ratner and sister, Rocel Kingman preceded Mike in death. The family wishes to acknowledge the exceptional care Mike received at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, his Oncology doctor, Dr. Waseem Touma, and the wonderful care and compassion he received from the infusion nurses at 3F-127 as well as his Allina Hospice Team.
