Sigel, Delores "Dee" age 88, of St. Louis Park, passed away on September 20, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Rose Kaner. Survived by husband, Melvin; daughters, Judy (Todd) Freeman, Jill (Ken) Greer and Susan (Daniel) Teboul; grand- children, Jennifer (Aaron), Katie (Jacob), Zachary (Jessica), Molly (Marc), Alison (Eric), Natalie and Caroleen; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Kaner and Jay Kaner; brother-in-law, Bob Sigel; and sister-in-law, Lisa Bevilacqua. Dementia robbed Delores the joy of knowing her 10 wonderful great- grandchildren. She was involved in numerous community organizations including, The Mount Sinai Hospital Board and Auxiliary, Children's Hospital, United Way, Israel Bonds, Federation for Jewish Services locally and nationally. Recipient of WCCO "Good Neighbor" award and Federation "Woman of Valor". Her love of music started as a child professional tap-dancer and continued into her adult life highlighted by her role as narrator of Bernstein's "Kaddish Symphony" at Orchestra Hall. Her love of family, community and sunny disposition will be an inspiration and memory for all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Sholom Home Memory Care for their love and compassionate care. Funeral service 11:00 am on MONDAY, September 23rd, at ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 W.
