Pelton, Eva Mae On September 14th, 2019 Minnesota lost a die-hard Vikings football fan. Eva Mae Pelton, age 94, of Saint Paul, passed away peacefully in her own room and own bed. Eva was a feisty, energetic, and fun-loving woman who lived every day on her own terms. She touched many and will be missed by many. Eva helped the U.S. Navy build aircraft during WW II. She continued working in several other pursuits through age 87. Never quite ready to retire, she did so three times. She loved to travel and find interesting cuisine, although cheesy grits remained her favorite. Her tireless curiosity was evident in every conversation. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Cliff, and grandson, John. She is survived by daughters Terrianne and Anita, who miss her dearly. All of her family, sons-in-law Jim and Kirk, grandchildren Peter/Lesley, Amy, Erica/Chris, and Maxwell/Allegra, great-grandchildren Joe, Matthew, Abi, Jamey, Jacob, and Reagan will miss Eva's light and quirky sense of humor. Visitation, Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 4pm St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St NE, Columbia Hts. Service to follow at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, 2076 St. Anthony Ave, St. Paul, MN.
