Evelyn J. 'Evie' Peterson

Peterson, Evelyn J. "Evie" 94 years young of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2019. Preceded in death by her husband of 40+ years, Harold "Pete" Peterson; former husband, Jack Pedersen; son, Larry Pedersen; step-children, Wayne and Karen; siblings, Toody Lockwood, William "Bill" Berg, Pete Johnson, and Helen Dicklich; and loving pets. Survived by children, Jill Steinke, Terry (Bonnie) Pedersen, Joy (Denny) Cook, and Chris Pedersen; grandchildren, Erica, Christy, Travis, Tobin, Masen, Perry, and Erin; 14 great-grandchil dren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister Mary (Bill) Munger; sister-in-law, Kathy Berg; and other loving family and friends. Celebration of life on Wednesday, September 4 at 11AM with a visitation at 10AM at Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel, 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Mom was a very special person to all who knew her, her hard work ethic and attitude stayed with her to the end. Evie will be deeply missed. We love you mom, rest in peace.
