Don was a veteran, studying Korean at Yale University and serving in the Air Force intelligence in Korea following the war. He was a father to six children (and ten grandchildren), and attended numerous family events and kids' sports games. He was always available to help design and mastermind a home improvement project. Apart from his profession building electronics and medical equipment, he was extremely intelligent. He was an inventor, developing prototypes of new engine designs. He was an avid reader of articles and books on space, black holes, particle physics, and dark matter. He was a deep thinker, and most of all, a devout family man, who made his children and grandchildren his highest priority. He would never turn down an opportunity to help when asked ... or a cup of coffee. His most admirable quality was his character, living life as one of the kindest, most unselfish people you could possibly meet. Don leaves behind a legacy of a life well-lived. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.
