Settlemire Jr., James R. Age 89, of Minnetonka passed away on Friday, August 16th. Jim is survived by his wife, Dot; daughter, Donna (Bruce) Bowen; 3 nieces; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Jim was married to the love of his life, Dot, for 68 years. Jim served in the army in the Korean War. For many years he worked for Prudential and later at TIES Sourcewell Technology. Jim and Dot enjoyed their home and traveling together. He was blessed with many friends and was a dedicated and active member of Messiah Methodist Church. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A celebration of life will be held at Messiah Methodist Church, 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN on Saturday, August 24 at 11:00am. Visitation one hour prior with interment immediately after church followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Messiah Methodist Church or Imarainternational.org
