Jorgensen, Dr. Paul W. With profound sadness the Jorgensen, Krimbill, and Thiede families announce the passing of Dr. Paul W. Jorgensen, our loving and devoted father, grandfather, and friend to all whose lives he touched. Paul was born in Minneapolis on January 18, 1936. He attended Washburn High School and maintained many of his high school friendships to the present day. Dr. Jorgensen graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and went on to open an active Orthodontic practice in Bloomington. Paul married Lynn (Nelson) in 1961 and together they raised their two sons, Kurt (Deb Sanchez) and Brad (Lisa Dalton). After the loss of his first wife, Paul married Norene (Krimbill) and they spent 19 wonderful years together. A few years after Norene passed away he married Kathleen (Thiede) and they had a beautiful relationship which ended too soon when she passed away last summer. Paul led a very active life right up to the past few weeks. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed biking and hiking, and a lifelong learner who always had two or three books that he was reading. He was diagnosed with a late stage of cancer less than a week before his passing. He was able to spend treasured time with his sons in his last hours. A celebration of Paul's life will be held on Sunday, August 18th at Minnesota Valley Country Club, 6300 Auto Club Road, Bloomington. The open house will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Paul would be honored to have your donations sent to the N.C. Little Hospice at 7019 Lynmar Lane, Edina or littlehospice.org
