Hurley, Marjorie born April 24, 1925 Ashland, WI. Graduated Bessemer High School, MI, and St. Scholastica College, MN, with a degree in Nursing. She served during WWII in the Cadet Nursing Corps. In 1949 Marjorie was married to B. G. Hurley at St. Sebastian Church, Bessemer, MI. She was employed by the University of MN as a nurse for 25 years. While there, she received the Distinguished Service Award. Marjorie is survived by her five children Daniel (Marie) Hurley, Priscilla (David) Crane, Patricia Gernbacher, Jim (Darlene) Hurley, Joe (Pat) Hurley; 15 cherished grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her sister Mary Maccani (Lee); and sister in law Betty Pellow; numerous nieces; nephews; long-life friends Farley family and McCarthy family; and many other wonderful friends. Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Richfield, MN on August 9th. Visitation 9:30. Service 10:30. Lunch immediately after.
