Schaitberger, Kristin Jo (Porter) Age 61 of Eden Prairie & Chaska passed away peacefully on July 21st. Kris was proceeded in death by her Mother: Mary Jean Porter, Father: Bennett Porter Jr., Father In-Law: Harold Schaitberger, Mother In-Law: Betty Schaitberger, Sister In-Law: Margaret Schaitberger, and High School friend Patrice Reinhardt Neidenfeuhr. Survived by Husband of 40 years Charles Schaitberger, Daughters: Katherine Jean Schaitberger and Carolyn Anne Mikkelson (Patrick) including grandsons William age 2, and Noah 5 weeks. Further survived by: Brothers: Bennett Porter (Mary), Thomas Porter (Jonele), and Sister: Susan Porter, Brother In-Laws: Rev. Stephen Schaitberger (Sharli) and Michael Schaitberger (Lynette). And many loving Nieces and Nephews. Kris struggled the past few years with multiple health issues. Kris would often say she wasn't that sick. She was so strong during this part of her life, but really throughout her life she was a fighter. Kris was a Registered Nurse with Fairview Southdale Hospital for 34 years. She loved to scrapbook, camp, and most all she loved her family especially her two Grandsons. Memorials preferred to Arthritis Foundation or Courage Kenny. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, July 25th 11:00 AM @ Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN with visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.
