Catherine (Dennen) Countryman

Countryman, Catherine (Dennen) Age 96 of Richfield, MN passed away peacefully July 16, 2019. She was born December 24, 1922 to John and Winifred Dennen in Taunton, Mass. She served in the US Navy during WWII, and loved her years teaching kindergarten in the Twin Cities area. Her rules to live by were; 1) Do something useful for the community; 2) Learn something new; 3) Make someone laugh. She is survived by her son, Thomas (Wendy) of Madison, WI; grandson, Joshua (Amy) of Eagan, MN; daughter, April (Anthony) Taylor, of Madison, WI; great-grandchildren, William, Andrew and Marin Countryman, Ethan and Asher Taylor. She is preceded in death by her son, James Leonard Countryman. Interment service 12:15PM Thursday, July 25 at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave, S. Minneapolis, MN 55450 Lane # 5.
