Lausen (nee Fisch), Evelyn Dorothy Age 88, of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on July 14, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy Fisch; brother, Ferdinand; sister, Adelaide Bowers. Survived by her husband and best friend of nearly 68 years, James; daughters, Catherine (Ron) Nervick, Laurie (Paul) Raap; cherished grandson, Nicholas Raap; also survived by other relatives and friends. Evie was a kind and generous woman, who touched the hearts of everyone she met. As a polio survivor of 77 years, she met the challenges of everyday life with strength, humility, and grace. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, July 19 at the Church of St. Bridget, 3811 Emerson Ave. N., Mpls., with visitation one hour prior to the Mass. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
