Custer, Sarah A. Grandma Sally, Masal, Mom Sarah A. Custer leaves a legacy of caring as she began her journey over the rainbow. Now holding hands in heaven with Jeanne (her sister), Emmet and Eleanore, (her parents), Suzanne (her daughter), and Dana (her daughter-in-law) she can continue to give hugs and smiles to everyone she encounters. Loved by all and touching many hearts, she leaves behind Wayne, her husband of 41+ years, sons, Greg, Bob(Jody), Steve Slette, and daughter Sandee (Gary) Woessner. Stepchildren Kim (Jim) Dresselhaus, Kevin (Karen) Custer, and Kurt. Grandchildren: Cory Davis, Alison Rhodes, Lynnea Slette, Jennifer and Dave Dresselhaus, Erin and Kris Custer, Gunnar Slette and 6 great grandchildren. We remember "Sally" as a very hard worker who worked as a Foster Grandparent in the Annandale Schools until age 85, a huge fan for her children and grandchildren, a talented singer, Women's VFW Auxiliary member, volunteer exceptionale, a great cook, and someone who made friends everywhere she went. She continued to give to kids and seniors throughout her life. Born in Minneapolis spending many years in Lakeville, retired in Annandale, MN where her and Wayne enjoyed many years on Lake Sylvia with many family gatherings and lake activities. We are thankful to have had "MaSal" for 87 plus years. She is missed but her smile and spirit is alive forever. Join us to celebrate her life at 2pm on Friday, July 12 for the Mass of Christian burial at St. Ignatius Church in Annandale, MN. Visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m at the church. Memorials can be sent to the Angel Foundation or Make a Wish. Give a kid, grandkid, our loved one a hug today and every day as a symbol of Grandma Sally's legacy! dingmannfuneral.com
