Burk, Merlyn C. "Red" Formerly of Crystal MN passed away May 19, 2019 in Bella Vista Arkansas surrounded by his family, at the age of 98. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances of 58 years. Survived by wife Annette, son Tom (Cindy), daughters Karen, Sue (Tom), Donna, Judy (Michael), sister Dorothy, 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Red graduated from North High School in 1939 and entered the Navy in 1942. He served in WWII at Pearl Harbor. He was very active in the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Red was a buyer for Warner Hardware until he started his own sales agency, Burk Sales, in 1970. He sold his agency in 1985 and retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas in 1992. Red was an amazing man, son, brother, uncle, husband, grandpa and the best dad his children could have asked for. We will cherish his memory forever in our hearts.
