Potas, Roberta Jean "Dodie" 75 of Wayzata, MN, passed away May 13, 2019. Our beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend will be greatly miss-ed. Dodie was born on July 17, 1943 in Fargo, North Dakota to Harry and Helen Jensen. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ron, and two daughters: Rachelle Nordstrom (children Alex and Matthew), Natalie Stanzi (John and children Jensen and Luke). She is preceded in death by parents Harry and Helen Jensen, brother Gerald Jensen, and niece Wendy Sue Jensen. Dodie spent her childhood in Seattle, Washington. She received a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Minnesota, and was a flight attendant for 42 years with Northwest/Delta Airlines. Dodie loved life and enjoyed many interests with her family and close friends traveling the world, gardening, enjoying life on Lake Minnetonka, the Arboretum, her book club, walking the trail, winters in Venice, FL, time with her grandchildren, and truly living life "in the moment." Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 12:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2451 Fairview Lane Mound, MN 55364 (visitation at 11:00). A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm at Lafayette Country Club, 2800 Northview Rd, Minnetonka Beach, MN 55361. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (Dodie's Memorial). Interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
