Richard John Grabow

Grabow, Richard John Age 65 died suddenly on May 13 of natural causes in Minneapolis. He was born December 9, 1953 in Minneapolis and grew up in Milaca. He earned a BA from Luther College, Decorah, IA and an MBA from St. Thomas in St. Paul. Richard worked for Southwestern Bell which eventually became Century Link from which he retired. He was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Golden Valley, and with the Single Parents Christian Fellowship for many years. He was also a member of the Swedish Men's Choir of Minneapolis. Survived by sister Carol Grabow; brother Paul (Suzan) Grabow; niece Rachel Grabow; nephews Benjamin Grabow, Thomas (Ivonne) Grabow and their son James Thomas. His family and many friends will miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents Clayton and Margaret. Memorial service 11:00 AM Friday, May 17 with visitation starting one hour prior at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley. Interment Calvary Lutheran Church Columbarium.
