Wright, Eli Passed away at the age of 57 in Fort Myers, FL on Sept 29, 2018. Eli went to join his beloved parents, Earl and Doris Wright, and sister and brother, Doris Ann Ford and John, who preceded him in death. Eli was born in St Joseph, MO on Oct 6, 1960. His family moved to Cottage Grove, MN and he attended Cottage Grove High School. After high school, Eli joined the US Army where he was a Fire Support Specialist. He earned numerous badges and ribbons for marksmanship. Eli went to work in different industries, and called himself "A butcher, a baker & envelope maker". He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, gardening, and his cat Widget. Eli is survived by his adoring wife, Charlotte; brothers, Calvin (Pam) Wright, Steve (Barbara) Wright, Roger (Jennifer) Wright; sisters, Elizabeth (Ron) Wahlert, Charlott Bottorff, Barbara (Don) Fitzgerrald and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 6, 2019 at The Church of St. Patrick's in Edina, MN. Family will receive friends an hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
