Fourre, Marilyn Joyce (Kaatz) Age 87, of Plymouth, passed on April 23, 2019, surrounded by family. Marilyn was born to Gordon Lloyd Kaatz and Margaret Rose (Fox) on May 8, 1931 in Highwater Township, near Lamberton, MN. She graduated as the Salutatorian from Lamberton High School in 1949. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College on scholarship for one year before moving to Minneapolis to attend business school. While living in Minneapolis she met and married Frank Fourre in 1954; together they raised three children. In addition to husband Frank, she leaves as her legacy three children: Craig (Nancy) Fourre, Diane Fourre and Michelle Fourre. She also leaves to cherish her memory of five grandchildren: Allison, Matt (Jenna), Joshua, Elijah and Levi; as well as her sister, Arlette Parnell and nieces and nephews. Marilyn grew up on a farm outside Lamberton. She was active in 4-H and was a Blue Ribbon winning bread-maker of Cottonwood County, MN, and also was a State Fair participant. She loved gardening and was known for her large vegetable gardens that were surrounded by beautiful flowers. She was a much-loved mother and grandmother, and will be missed by all. Celebration of Life services will be 11am Tuesday, April 30 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N (@ Vicksburg Lane), with visitation 1/2 hour prior to the service.
