Robert Freeman Williamson

Williamson, Robert Freeman 1934-2019. Bob passed away at age 84 with complications from Parkinsons disease at the Finnish American Nursing Home in Lake Worth, FL. He was born in Sanford, NC, and served in the US Army Tank Corps in Germany. He received a BA degree in Engineering from Purdue University, and pursued graduate studies at the University of Minnesota, where he taught social studies in the General College for several years. He was an advocate for the environment and an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by son John (FL), daughter Julie (MN), four grandchildren: John (ME), Jesse, Thorin, and Maya (MN), and good friends Yvette and John Oldendorf (MN). In accordance with Bob's wishes, no services are planned.
