Idzorek, Julian Joseph of Edina. Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 18, at the age of 93. Dad shared his last weeks of life with his children and incredible care-giver, Enid Hikalinda. Julian was preceded in death by wife and true love of 67 years, Faith. Also survived by sister, Edith Fleming of New Iberia, LA; children Faith Christine (Lynn) of Orono; Jay (Jody) of Ironton; George (Roberta) of Los Alamos, NM; Jim (Debbie) of Woodbury; Ed (Julie) of St. Louis Park; Mary Rumpf (Dave) of Kirkland, WA; and Bill (Kris) of Minneapolis. Grandchildren Katie Bennish & family (Tooele, UT), Helen Idzorek & husband (Austin, TX); Corinne Idzorek (St. Paul, MN); Kiersten Idzorek (Afton, MN); and Hannah and Jacob Rumpf (Kirkland, WA.). Also many step grand kids and great grand children. Julian was the progenitor of what his children fondly called "the engineering gene." He was a brilliant scientist, as well as generous neighbor, friend, and father. Like his wife, his final act of generosity was donating his body to the University of Minnesota medical school. A notice of time and place will be published a week prior to then.
