Nowak, Jean E. Age 92 of Brooklyn Center. Jean worked as a nurse for many years. She loved to help others & volunteered often, especially at Sharing & Caring Hands. She was a charter member of St. Alphonsus and was very active in the church. Preceded in death by husband, Jim; son, Bob; and brother, Dan. Survived by children, Jim (Jean), Dan, Mary (Ron), Bill (Richard); daughter-in-law, Linda; cherished grandchildren, Mike, Alex, Katie, Bob, Nick, Clare, Joe, Therese; great- grandchild, Olivia; sister, Pat; brother, Tom; & many nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral Service 11AM THURSDAY, April 18th, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center. Visitation 5-8PM TODAY, April 17th, at Evans- Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center & 1 hour prior to the service at church THURSDAY. Prayer Service 7:30PM TODAY at the funeral home. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Sharing & Caring Hands, St. Alphonsus School or donor's choice.
