Anderson, James Y. (Jim) Age 60 of Maple Grove, MN. Born Oct.21, 1958, died unexpectedly Mar. 15, 2019. Survived by wife, Stephanie; children Patrick, Jonathan, Tino (Gretchen) and Alexa; grandson, Reece; brothers, Jeff (Ellen) and John (Carey); nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law Matt (Elise) and Kevin (Lisa); numerous cousins; and many beloved friends. Preceded in death by father and mother Clarence and Agnes Anderson. Jim graduated from Wayzata HS, class of 1976; BS in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota 1981. Jim spent his career in the insurance administration industry, most recently employed by Corporate Benefits Audits Inc. Jim was funny, gregarious, outspoken, and passionately loyal to his family and friends. He pursued an active regime of hiking, biking and other physical activities with his wife, and led the charge of voracious laughter at many a piano bar evening. Always a best friends' friend, he could be found weekly engaged at Monday night trivia or football Sunday events. A caring soul, he could always be counted on to do the right thing towards others. He loved following the world of finance and would frequently have CNBC with market news on in the background. While not playing as much golf, fishing and hunting as he used to he enjoyed frequenting the gym. His spirit, wisdom and friendship were adored by all who knew him. Jim was a great companion, and he will be dearly missed. The light shining on the world has dimmed as we have lost a better person than most of us could hope to be. A memorial service will be held at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH MAPLE GROVE CHAPEL (13745 Reimer Dr.) on March 20 at 6 PM, followed by a reception. kozlakradulovich.com "A Celebration of Life" 763-416-0016
