Arthur I. Jaffee

Jaffee, Arthur I. age 94 of Minneapolis died March 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Kate Jaffee; brother, Bob (Joan) Jaffee and brother-in-law, Alvin (Dorothy) Kirsner. Survived by his wife of 72 years, Roslyn; children, Mark (Ellen), Marcia Jaffee Koester and Nancy Shiff (Bob); grandchildren, Dannon (Amy) and Sari (Andy) Shiff, Justin (Siri) and Jennifer Koester and Max Jaffee (Madison); great- granddaughters, Sophie and Noa Shiff; nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Born in New York, raised in Sioux City, IA and Minneapolis. Played football and graduated from West High; ROTC at the U of MN - Naval Captain of USS Argus. Lifetime member of Temple Israel and Oak Ridge County Club. Ultimate Minnesota Gopher football fan. Art was a gentleman's gentleman who valued honesty and customer service at Jaffee's and Jaffee's for Accessories. Above all else, a dedicated family man! Funeral service 11 a.m. THURSDAY March 14th at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. So., Minneapolis, In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Temple Israel Roslyn and Arthur Jaffee Family Fund or Andrew Jaffee Cancer Research Fund at U of MN Medical Foundation.
