Steinke, Flora Flo was the proud mother of 3 independent, creative, self-starters, Deb (Carl), Tom, and Jeff (Nancy). A real stay at home mom in every sense of the title. Selfless, encouraging, fair, truthful and above all, always flowing with abundant love, willing to sacrifice her own need for dad and her kids. Born and raised in Faribault, MN November 4, 1930 as a first generation American to her Danish immigrant parents, then moving to Minneapolis for school, where she met the man she would share her life with. (Charles Steinke) til death did they part. Now reunited and renewed before God. Mom loved golfing with dad, her kids and her grandchildren at Voyager Village where they had a beautiful cabin on the 4th green. Among other interests were making beautiful music singing with a traveling choir called The Orono Singers. Mom also loved working with Town and Country Caterers of Wayzata around the holiday season where she would delightfully marvel with being amongst the fanciest homes and witnessing the most grand of parties. Mom truly enjoyed her grandchildren, Justin (Jessica), Dane (Samantha), Paige, Nick and Drew and her great-grandchildren, Ruby, Stella and Ethan. Mom enjoyed celebrating everyone's birthdays, ice cream and good stories. A private service will be held at Wayzata Community Church.
