Ackert, Lynda J. (Tallackson) Age 71 of Shoreview, MN, passed away February 8, 2019. Born in Grafton, North Dakota, she was the first-born child of Harvey and Glenna Tallackson. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota. She was a social studies teacher at North View Junior High School in the Osseo School District (MN) for 35 years. After retirement, she was a substitute teacher in the Mounds View School District. She is survived by her husband, Gary; her daughters Elizabeth Ackert (Cory Molzahn), Christina KenKnight (Jonathan); her 3 grandchildren; her parents; and her siblings: Thomas Tallackson (Diane), Debra Wilhelm (Steve), Amy Elbert (Dale), Laura Shoults (Joe), and their families. A memorial service for Lynda will be held on March 9, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Shoreview, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her name to the church.
