Edward E. Godin

Godin, Edward E. Age 90, of Minnetonka, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away surrounded by family on February 15, 2019. Ed was born in Manistique, Michigan and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and worked as an electrical engineer for 25 years. He was known for his kind, positive nature and his love of biking. He is preceded in death by his parents (Adolphe and Marie), brothers (Florimond and Emmanuel) and sisters (Noella Wallace and Regina Savoie). He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia (nee McNamara), sons David (Laura) Godin, Marty (Lisa) Godin, and daughter Karen (Dino) Balafas. Ed is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and his brother Ernie who all loved him dearly. Memorial Service Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
