Bjonfald, Michael age 64, passed away on February 19, 2019 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Olaf and Delores Bjonfald. Mike was an easy-going, salt of the earth guy who loved nothing more than summers at the camper and on the pontoon. Cancer took control of Mikes body, but never his spirit. He refused to feel sorry for himself and didn't expect others to either; continuing to work until the end. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary; brothers, Dennis (Jean Ann) and Jon Bjonfald; In-laws, Dennis (Stevee) Szafranski and Sue Szafranski; many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Memorial service Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave South, Bloomington, MN 55419. Funeral service starting at 12:00 pm, visitation 2 hours prior.
