Larson, Lillian Rose (Schwegman) "Lil" died peacefully in her home in Brooklyn Park, MN to join her beloved husband Jack in heaven, at the age of 87 on February 9, 2019. Lil was born on June 14, 1931 in Meire Grove, MN to Clemens and Rose (Schulzenberg) Schwegman. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1949. She attended the Minnesota School of Business and upon graduation was employed at the First National Bank of Sauk Centre. After taking time off to be a wife and mother, she returned to work at Bonded Collections, then later, at the Minnesota Home School and after moving to Brooklyn Park, she worked at North Hennepin Community College. She was an active member of St. Gabriel Guild and a founding member of the Glen Echo Villas Social Committee. Lil was preceded in death by her husband John (Jack) Larson, son William Larson, her parents, siblings Marina Proell, Clarence Schwegman, Evelyn Botz, Raymond Schwegman, Mary and Joseph Schwegman and Donald Schwegman and son-in-law, Dennis Lightbody. Lil is survived by her children, Jane Lightbody, Diane (Daniel) Gredvig, Michael (Kathy) Larson and Mary (Stan) Kielb, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Brooklyn Center, MN. Visitation will be held from 11am 12pm and immediately followed by Mass.
