Jaffee, Joan "Jo" (Cohen) 92, born and raised in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Attended Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota. She lived most of her adult life in Duluth, Hopkins, Edina and Minnetonka. Preceded in death by parents, Alice and Louis Cohen; husband, Robert Jaffee; grandchildren, Madalyn Marquisee & Andrew Jaffee; and longtime companion, Dr. Harold Berris. Survived by children, Jay (Wendy Friede), Steven (Lynn) and Karen (Jed Marquisee); grandchildren, Alison, Carly, Jesse, Joseph (Andrea) and Michael; sister-in-law and best friend, Roslyn Jaffee; brother-in-law, Arthur Jaffee; and nieces, nephew and their families. Jo was a loving mother and grandmother. For most of her adult life she enjoyed playing golf, Mah-jongg, Bridge and attending concerts at Orchestra Hall. She also enjoyed working in the family businesses and volunteering. Her family is most grateful for the tremendous help and care provided by Katie Triggs and Mary Sandoval of Park Nicollet Methodist Hospice and the wonderful staff at Geneva Suites' Braeburn House for the comfort and support they provided her and her family during her last several months.
