Palm, Carl F. age 94 of Mpls, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2019. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Marliss; children, Steven Palm and Lori (Douglas) Hannem; grandchildren, Andrea (Matt),Elizabeth, Suzanne, Barbara and Nicole; great-grandson, Bryson; siblings, Marion, Maxine and William. Preceded in death by son, Robert and siblings, Katherine, Richard and Beatrice. Carl was a WWII veteran of the US Navy aboard the USS San Carlos. He was also activated for the Korean War. He spent his career as a mail carrier in the City of Edina. He enjoyed woodworking and making things for his family. He was member of the VFW 5555. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa and will be deeply missed. Visitation 9-11 AM Friday, February 15 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St & Vernon Ave at Hwy 100. Graveside service 12:30 PM Friday, February 15 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 494 & 34th Ave, Mpls. Please meet in Assembly Area 5.
