Swenson, Carol R. (nee Retzlaff) Age 87, of Edina, MN, passed away peacefully February 1, 2019. Preceded in death by husband, Jim Swenson; parents, Waldemar & Hilda Retzlaff; brother, Marcus Retzlaff; sisters, Marion Retzlaff & Lucille Busse. Survived by sons, Mark (Tricia), Dick (Stacy), Tom (Julie); six grandchildren, Allen, Tommy, Emily, Trevor, Owen and Kit. Attended Gustavus Adolphus College where she met her husband, Jim. The two made their home & raised their three boys in Edina and enjoyed their later years at the family lakeside home in Miltona. Wonderful wife, loving mother, very active in MN women's golf, and sociable friend, she will be missed by many.
