Smith, Kathryn "Kate" Age 94, of Edina, passed away peacefully. Preceded in death by father, Earl Smith; mother, Gladys Smith; sister, Gloria Bandy and brother, Earl Smith. Survived by brother, Paul Smith; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and many good friends. Many travels became a passion in Kate's retirement. She was social and took great interest in other people, their customs and how they lived. Mass at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the 7500 York Cooperative, 7500 York Ave. S., Edina. Ice Cream Social following the Mass at York Cooperative. Memorials preferred to charity of donor's choice or St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Mpls.
