Dianne Marie (Preusee) Latterell
Latterell (Preusse), Dianne Marie Age 73 of Cannon Falls, MN, went home to heaven on 1/21/19. Dianne grew up in Richfield, MN, attending St Richard's Grade School and Richfield High School. Dianne graduated with an RN degree from the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a nurse for many years in the Pittsburgh area, serving as an oncology nurse and later a Home Hospice Nurse. After moving to Cannon Falls in 1997, she worked as a hospice nurse for several years before retiring. Dianne continued her life of service post-retirement by serving as Secretary of the Cannon Valley Senior Center, as well as Chairperson of the Service Committee, from 2012 2018. Dianne married Jeffrey Latterell on August 19th, 1967, at St. Richard's Church in Richfield. The most important things in Dianne's life were her family, especially her husband, 3 children and 6 grandchildren; nursing, and God. She relished traveling and was able to travel to many countries across the globe. She also found great joy in living in the country on "the farm." Among the people who will miss her immensely are her husband of 51 years, Jeffrey; children Matthew (Ina), Aimee Gatti (Greg) and Kathryn; grandchildren Benjamin, Maxine, Carina, Annie, Teresa, and Justin; her 2 brothers; and 3 sisters; and her numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration service will be held at First United Church of Christ, located at 300 Union Street in Northfield, MN, on Saturday, February 2 at 2:00pm. Gathering in the Church Social Hall to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Cannon Falls or the Cannon Falls Food Shelf.
