Erickson, Kristian "Kris" McCulloch Age 46, of Minneapolis, Kris passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family and friends on the morning of Sunday, January 20th, 2019, after a hard-fought two year battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by wife Sarah, sons Theo and Oskar, daughter Ingrid, parents John and Barbara, siblings Molly and Jakob and their families and his beloved dog Puddin'. Kris was a doting father and loving husband and partner, a beloved brother and son, a goofy uncle and cousin, and a charming, hilarious & loyal friend. Kris was a born storyteller, a lifelong lover of films and books and comics, a writer, and a natural and prodigious wit who filled every room with laughter. His creative nature found outlet in his profession as a woodworker and cabinetmaker. He made beautiful and original furniture that is deeply cherished by his family and friends. Kris' passing was defined by the supreme dignity and grace with which he persevered through the ordeal of his diagnosis and treatment, by the vitality and resilience of his character and humor and his unwavering ability to remain present with those that he loved. He will be dearly missed. A Service will be held on Friday, January 25, with a visitation at 10 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. service at St. Joan of Arc Church Minneapolis, 4537 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55419. Formal attire requested (hats appreciated).
