Rouse, Karen Elizabeth Age 80 of McGregor passed away on January 11, 2019. Karen was born on June 6, 1938 in Minneapolis. A 1956 graduate of South West High School and remained in close contact with many friends. Karen and Richard moved to Big Sandy Lake where she enjoyed sitting on her deck, pontoon rides, watching the hummingbirds, tending to her flowers and nurturing friendships. She was preceded in death by her parents Jannet and Larry Barette, and her loving husband Dick. She is survived by dog and companion Rosie; son: Doug of Arizona, daughter: Jennifer (Mark) Bollman of Ramsey, granddaughter: Allison, sister: Joan of Washington, brother: Greg (Geri) of Chanhassen and several nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019 at 2 PM from Grace Lutheran Church in McGregor, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Pine Needle Cemetery. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers. Karen will be deeply cherished and missed by all.
