Cook, Mary Sodd passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 9th, 2019 on her 88th birthday. A lifelong active member of her beloved St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral in Northeast Minneapolis. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, William, loving children: Jeffrey Cook, Judy Paul, Barbara (Bob) Paulson, Terry (Jim) Dalton and 8 grandchildren: Parker Cook, Ana Paul, Matt, Tim (Missy), Chris and Beth Paulson, Kyle and Sam Dalton and great-grandchild: Carter Paulson. She is also survived by sisters: Martha Dzubak (her twin), Anne Miller, Helen Josul and Irene (Jack) Novak plus scores of nephews and nieces. Besides her family, gentle Mary greatly loved making chocolate chip cookies, her art class, giving small gifts to everyone at anytime (especially to children), gardening, Monet and watching her grandchildren's academic, sports and musical successes. Mary saw love and beauty in everyone and everything and was her children's and grandchildren's biggest fan. Visitation at KOZLAK-RADULOVICH CHAPEL 1918 University Ave. NE Monday from 5 to 8 PM with Prayer Service (Parastas) at 7 PM. Funeral service at ST. MARY'S ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL 17th Ave. NE & 5th St. Tuesday at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior. Interment St. Mary's Orthodox Cemetery.
