Rodriguez Jr, Kenneth C. Age 82, passed away December 15 in his home. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia; daughter, Stephanie (Tom McDonald) Rodriguez; son, Kevin Michael; daughter, Rebecca (Jafus Smith) Rodriguez-Smith; grandchildren: Natalie (Dean), Christopher Tracey, Cierra and Isabella and many siblings. Kenny worked at Charlie's Café Exceptional in Mpls. for many years. His proudest accomplishment was winning the Golden Gloves Upper Midwest Championship in 1955. He continued to be active in the boxing community, coaching young boxers and helped coach his brother, Rafael's fight with Sugar Ray Leonard. He was always proud to share that he was able to meet his idol, Muhammad Ali. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Parkinson's research.
