Sween, Duane K. DDS Age 85, of Plymouth. Dr. Duane Sween practiced dentistry for over 50 years in Crystal, MN. He was proud when both his sons chose to become dentists as well. Preceded in death by his son, Michael Sween, D.D.S. and parents, Milo and Lenore Sween. Survived by his "awfully cute" wife, Charlotte; daughter, Laurie (Daniel) Ibister, son, Mark Sween, D.D.S.; grandchildren, Lucas Ibister, Collin Sween and Stephanie Sween. Duane was a 1955 graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, MN in 1959. He served in the US Army in Germany from 1959-1961. He served as a president of his Rotary Club and was a member of Hazeltine National Golf Club, Medina Country Club and Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
