Faust, Charles F. "Chuck" Of West St. Paul, passed suddenly on Nov. 14, 2018 at the age of 89. He was born in Warren, MN on Sept. 12, 1929. In 1954 he married Helen McLeer, eventually settling in Brooklyn Park and raising a family. A gifted teacher, many of his 32 years at Anoka Senior High were spent teaching social studies/history in the classroom, but he also built a radio/tv production studio and devoted his remaining years mentoring students through an alternative hands-on learning program. Charles cared deeply about his students. He was a loyal and devoted husband, father and grandfather; steadfast and unwavering in presence and purpose. He felt blessed to have lived so long in spite of all the "used parts" and "was ready to go home." God bless and keep our beloved husband and father whom we hold ever close to our hearts. He is survived by his wife, Helen Faust; son, Christopher Faust; daughter-in-law, Diane Rumsey and grandson Chad Faust; son, Matthew Faust and daughter, Lisa Faust. Visitation, 4-8 PM Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Willwerscheid West-Heights Chapel, 235 Wentworth Ave W., West St. Paul, 55118. Burial 10 AM Wed, Nov. 21 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (meet at assembly area #2). Willwerscheid West-Heights Chapel 651-457-7938
