William H. 'Bill' Egan

Egan, William H. "Bill" 84, of Edina, passed away, Wednesday, October 17th at home. Preceded in death by parents, Martin and Mable (Schlauderaff) Egan; wife of 49 years, Constance (Neuman) Egan; and daughter, Elizabeth (Egan) Maus. Survived by son-in- law, Dale Maus; son, Patrick Egan; daughter, Carrie (Andrew) Bennett; son, John (Steph) Egan; ten grandchildren; and special friend, Clarice Peet. Bill grew up in Detroit Lakes and served in the Navy during the Korean War. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Bill worked for Burlington Northern for over 30 years. After retirement, Bill kept himself busy with his family and his weekly golf outings with friends. A celebration of his life and Catholic mass will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 29th in the Chapel at Saint Patrick's Church in Edina. Visitation will be at 10:00am in the Mahon Center.
