Duwenhoegger (Note), Veronica Genevieve Age 85, previously of Brooklyn Center, passed away with loved ones by her side on October 18, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband Ted, granddaughter, Lauren Duwen hoegger, sister, Donna Manders, brother, Jim Note, and two nephews, Larry Greelis and Steve Manders. She is survived by her six children, Mary (Cal) Jacobson, Peter (Dawn), John, Jim (Carol Nannemann), Ann (Josh) Florell, and Paul (April Schroepfer). She will be greatly missed by her 13 surviving grandchildren: Zachary and Aaron; Jenna, Jamie (Steve) Schulte and Grace; G and Ria; Isaac, Jared, and Sydney; Sarah, Anna, and Sophia; as well as two great-grandsons, Theodore, and Leonard (Shulte). She is also survived by two sisters, Shirley Greelis, and JoAnn Note. Veronica was a 1951 graduate of North High School in Minneapolis. She was retired from Owens Corning after 20 years of service and Target Corporation after 12 years. Veronica loved watching Minnesota sports, especially Gopher football, the Vikings, and the Lynx. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with each of them. She will be forever remembered for her sense of humor, strong work ethic, and devotion to her family. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 23 at St. Alphonsus Church, 7025 Halifax Avenue N., Brooklyn Center, with visitation one hour prior to service.
