Dowidat, Marian C. Marian, age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 23 at the Crossroads Care Center, Worthington, MN. She formerly lived in Blaine, MN. Preceded in death by her parents, Marie Thompson and Carl Zimmerman; first husband, Melvin Messer; husband, Martin Dowidat; sisters, Dolores Wiggins and Arlene Shakelford. Survived by children, William Messer, Kristine (Richard) Besel, Robert (Marina) Messer; and grandchildren, Jonathan (Jennifer) Besel, Denae (Todd) Olsen, and David Messer; great-grandchildren, Lucas Besel, Colin Besel, and Sam Olsen; step-grandchildren, Brett (Heather) Boyum, Lance (Julie) Boyum, Tim (Melanie) Boyum; and seven Boyum great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 11:00AM, at the Hillside Chapel, Washburn-McReavy (washburn-McReavy.com) 2610 19th Ave. Mpls. NE Visitation at 10:00AM, and luncheon to follow the service.
