Griffin, James Robert NOTE: SERVICE LOCATION CHANGE Age 78, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 15, 2018. James was born the oldest of four children to Robert and Mary Griffin in Chicago, Illinois on August 29, 1940. Preceded in death by sister Joan Griffin. Survived by sister Ginny Hatch and brother Jack Griffin, children Patrick Griffin and Lisa Wiederrich, and three grandchildren. Jim was raised in Sioux Falls and was a long-time business owner in Minneapolis prior to his retirement. Jim enjoyed watching the Twins and Vikings. He loved walking the next door neighbor's dogs and always had a story to tell. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Friday (9/28) at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 155 Cty. Road 24, Medina.
