Olivia grew up in Sauk Centre Minnesota and then moved to Minneapolis as a young adult. She worked at Sears and Honeywell and while playing tennis in south Minneapolis she met the love of her life, Cliff Anderson. Olivia and Cliff were married in 1941 before Cliff went overseas during WWII. After the war Olivia and Cliff, together, built a successful construction business and later on went into the grocery and restaurant businesses. Olivia loved to play golf and made a "hole in one" at the age of 88. She played competitive bridge up until the last few months of her life. Olivia also loved to travel and took her last big trip, at the age of 92, to Japan where she discovered she would be sleeping on the floor. Some of her favorite travel destinations were to Scottsdale, AZ and Crosslake, MN. Olivia also enjoyed going out to movies and she had a keen eye for spotting Oscar winners. As her health failed she really missed going to movies and out to eat. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 13505 Excelsior Blvd., Minnetonka on Friday, October 5th at 11 AM, with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 330 Exchange St. S., St. Paul, MN 55102.
