Clark (Olver), Lynda Marie For the Love of Lynda Left this life, September 5th, 2018, at her sister's home after a long struggle with ill health. Lynda Marie Olver was born December 27th, 1952 to Emmons Olver and Berniece Williams in Carbondale Pennsylvania. She lived in Honesdale, Penn-sylvania until the age of eight when the family moved to Westfield, New Jersey. After a few years, the family settled in North Plainfield, New Jersey for the rest of her adolescence. She did her high school years at Collier's School for Girls where she also received her hairdressers license. Her first job was at Lucy And Ralph's Beauty Salon in Plainfield, New Jersey. In 1972 she married Thomas Clark of Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania. After a few years she returned to live in New Jersey as a single woman, working again at Lucy and Ralph's and then eventually as a bartender and cook in various dining establish-ments. She met and lived with Joe Retto for the next 25 years in Middlesex and Flemington, New Jersey. In 2005, she moved to Pine Village in Cambridge, Minnesota to be near her family. She is survived by her sister, Gracie; husband, Brian Hart; nephew Joshua Hart; niece, Kimberly Hart Vradenburgh; three grandnieces, Krystal Vradenburgh, Nicole Hart and Briane Rice; and two great-grandnieces, Brooke Lufsky and Ella Hart, all from the Cambridge area. Also, her Aunt Nancy and Uncle Al Swingle of Bethany, Pennsylvania and a beloved cousin, Trudy Dykun of Branford, Connecticut. Preceded in death by her father, Emmons and mother, Berniece; brother, Terry Canfield; nephew, Brian Hart Jr.; and companion, Joe Retto. Lynda truly was the "Crazy Cat Lady" referring to them as her "kids", so in lieu of flowers, donations to your local animal shelter are requested. A memorial celebration will be held at Lynda's favorite chicken joint, the Brass Rail on Highway 65 in Grandy on Monday September 17th from 5 to 8 p.m. Please plan on joining the family to celebrate her life.
