Smith, (Shaughnessy) Genevieve "Gene" Retired Fieldcrest Cannon, long time member of St. Olaf Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, Edward; brothers, John, Richard, Bob and Paul. Survived by cousin, Sandie Dols; godchildren, Dan and Heather; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Special thanks for the loving care given by the staff of English Rose and Park Nicollet Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Monday, Sept. 17 with visitation beginning at 9AM at the Church of St. Olaf, 8th Street & 2nd Ave S., Minneapolis. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
