Peterson, John A., M.D. Age 87 of Rio Verde, Arizona, formerly of Edina, passed away on August 20, 2018 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. John spent his 34 year career as an Anesthesiologist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. John is survived by his wife, Joyce, and children Julie (Jeff) Burrows, Lynda (Tom) Seasly, David (Patty) Peterson and Ann (Craig) Lagorio and his sister Beverly (Darwin) Anthony. He was adored by his 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. We will miss his sweet demeanor, calm temperament and quick wit. A Memorial Service will be held on Sept 8th at 11:00am at Community Church of the Verdes, Rio Verde, AZ.
