Young, John Steeves It is with great sadness that the family of John Steeves Young announces his passing after a battle with cancer, on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at the age of 82. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 24 years, Nancy and his children, Katie (Gene) Stokoe, Mandi Young, and Molly (Lance) Ricks. John will also be fondly remembered by his two grand-children, John Stokoe and Remy Ricks. He was preceded in death his parents George and Dorothy Young; three sisters and four brothers. He was survived in death by his brother Robert (Betty) Young and his sister Dorothy Dibble. A visitation in memory of John will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley MN 55427. Luncheon to follow the service.
