Salyards, Dan R. Age 74, of Eden Prairie, died on August 9, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gale and Evelyn Salyards. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Salyards; daughter, Megan (Michael) Fiedler; son, Jason (Anne) Salyards; step-daughters, Michelle (Peter) Dover, Maria (Brian) Sergenian, Elizabeth Shepardson; 8 grandsons, Max and Edward Dover, William and Henry Sergenian, Noah and Adam Shepardson, and John and Ethan Fiedler; sister, Jane (Gary) Stephens; and 2 nephews, Craig and Kyle Donze. Dan's dedication to his work and passion for travel allowed Mary and him to travel throughout the world and experience the richness of many cultures. He loved to be in nature, whether he was fishing or working in his garden. Most of all, Dan enjoyed his home, his family, and especially his grandsons. His faith was important and his church was his community. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00am at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Dr., Eden Prairie, MN 55344, with a visitation 1 hour prior.
