Bambenek, Audrey Ann (Kroening) Age 87 of Plymouth, passed away suddenly from an abdominal mass on July 20, 2018. Audrey grew up in Springfield, MN and came to Minneapolis to study theater at the U of M, where she met Ben. That short stint prepared her for her greatest role: MOTHER. She had "10 kids in 10 years", as she proudly proclaimed to everyone. She did a heck of a job raising her own, plus was a mother to our friends, extended family, and numerous others, including exchange students, visiting missionaries, and even the homeless! Her practical German upbringing prepared her to solve any problems, and her motto in life can best be summed up by her answer to any question or problem: "WHATEVER", which is what she taught us all to do: JUST DEAL WITH IT!! Preceded in death by husband, Benjamin Franklin II; sons, Charles and Martin; parents, Lydia and Arthur Kroening; brothers, Ted and Paul; sister, Patricia Cady. Survived by children, Benjamin Franklin III, Thomas, Stephen, Matthew, Mary, Ruth, Michael, William; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia "Sr. Mary Krista"; brother, John Kroening; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 5-9PM Sunday, August 19th at the Hamel Community Building (directly behind Farmer's State Bank) in the community of Hamel, City of Medina. Private interment Ft. Snelling August 20, 11:30-11:45am. Please, no flowers. Memorials will be accepted by the family for her favorite charities "whatever". cremationsocietyofmn.com
